What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional - Union Parish - Spearsville position at Americare?
As a caregiver at Americare, you’ll build relationships and improve the quality of life of the elderly/disabled population who are in need of love and care. Your goal will be to help individuals enjoy life by assisting them with their activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, ambulating, light housekeeping, meal prep, etc). We currently have a 6A-6P shift (days) AND a 6P-6A shift (nights) available in Spearsville. 16-hour DSW training and CPR certification are provided by the company. You must have a clean background, valid driver's license/state ID, reliable transportation, current auto insurance/registration (if you drive), able to pass a drug test...and a GREAT WORK ETHIC!
