Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for all areas of the facility.
- Train new housekeeping staff on best practices in floor care, cleaning techniques, and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations in all cleaning activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and custodial practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is preferred.
