Airfield Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Airfield Supervisor to join our team in Fort McCoy. As an Airfield Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the airfield, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and procedures. You will be responsible for managing a team of airfield technicians and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Your main goal will be to ensure the safety and security of all personnel and aircraft on the airfield.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in airfield operations.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and procedures.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with military airfield operations.
• Certification as an Airfield Operations Specialist.
• Experience with air traffic control operations.
• Experience with airport security procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the airfield, including maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
• Manage a team of airfield technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on airfield operations.

Skills:

As an Airfield Supervisor, you will need to have strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage your team and coordinate with other departments. You will also need to have a deep understanding of FAA regulations and procedures, as well as experience with airfield operations. Additionally, experience with military airfield operations, air traffic control, and airport security procedures would be beneficial. You will use these skills on a daily basis to ensure the safety and security of all personnel and aircraft on the airfield.
