Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and hospitable handling of guest reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and payments, including credit card and cash handling procedures.
- Address guest inquiries about hotel services, local shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
- Respond promptly and positively to guest requests or concerns, ensuring follow-up to achieve satisfaction.
- Record guest feedback, escalating issues to management as needed.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address guest-reported issues and communicate room readiness.
- Support your team by assisting with job functions during peak periods and contributing to the overall success of day-to-day operations.
- Perform end-of-day tasks, including verifying guest charges, balancing daily transactions, and ensuring accurate documentation (e.g., reports and checklists).
Shift Details:
- Work a total of three days one week and four days the next week, alternating weekly.
- Two audit shifts per week: Monday and Tuesday evenings, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
- One evening shift during the week: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
- Evening shifts include every other weekend.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a welcoming environment for guests and colleagues.
- Proficiency in basic math and intermediate-level Microsoft Excel skills.
- Familiarity with auditing principles and secure payment handling practices.
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude with a focus on teamwork.
