**Overview:** We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, the Front Desk Receptionist plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors. **Responsibilities:** - Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner, answering their questions and addressing any concerns. - Manage the front desk, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling mail and packages. - Coordinate appointments, check-ins, and check-outs, ensuring that all patients are accurately scheduled and informed. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, both electronically and manually. - Handle cash and credit transactions, as well as manage patient payments. - Utilize computer systems to computerize patient data, manage billing and insurance, and provide detailed reports. - Provide general administrative support to the dental team, including preparing and filing documents, and performing other administrative tasks as needed. - Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience. **Qualifications:** - Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar administrative role. - Strong computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn new computer systems. - Excellent customer service and communication skills. - Bilingual is preferred, but not required. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. - High school diploma or equivalent required, with a post-secondary certificate in dental assisting or a related field an asset. - Experience with dental billing and insurance is an asset. - The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
