We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions and providing exceptional guest service during the overnight shift. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will contribute to the smooth operation of our hotel.
Responsibilities:
- Perform nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Verify and balance revenue, accounts receivable, and guest ledger accounts
- Prepare daily reports summarizing hotel operations and financial activities
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Assist with the check-in and check-out process for guests arriving or departing during the overnight shift
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests by monitoring surveillance cameras and conducting regular security checks
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations during the overnight hours
Skills:
- Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles and practices
- Proficiency in operating phone systems and other hotel-related software
- Familiarity with hotel management systems and processes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
