Responsibilities
- Cleans guest rooms in accordance with established company, brand or hotel standards to allow a sufficient quantity of vacant and clean rooms.
- Responds to the needs of guests and coworkers in a friendly, positive manner.
- Within guidelines established by the hotel or management company, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards for the property.
- Responsible for carrying out special requests from guests in a timely manner, such as extra towels, replacing faulty equipment, etc.
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Other Qualifications:
Previous hotel housekeeping experience is a plus, but is not required.
Must be flexible (work weekends and holidays), and be a team player.
Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
Attention to detail and ability meet high standards of room cleanliness.
Must be able to properly use cleaning supplies and chemicals.
Must be able to walk, climb stairs, stand, bend, crouch, kneel, reach overhead, twist, lift, push, pull and carry loads in excess of 100 lbs.
Must be 16 years or older.
