What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Attendant part-time between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. position at AmericInn Lodge & Suites?
PURPOSE OF POSITION
- Provide clean, sparkling fresh and fully stocked rooms for guests at check in.*
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Clean and stock all guest rooms, as assigned, including changing linens on beds, dusting and vacuuming, stocking supplies, emptying trash, hand washing all wall and floor tiles, toilets, tubs, and sink fixtures.
- Flipping or rotating mattresses with assistance, when needed.
- Stock room attendant carts with full supplies at the end of the day. Turn in all lost and found items to the Lead Housekeeper.
- Exhibit courteous manner with guests.
- Assist with the quarterly and fall cleaning duties.
- Implement all company policies and procedures for safety and security.
- Perform all other tasks as assigned by the General Manager or Head House Keeper.
- Respect guest's privacy.
MANDATORY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Read, write, and speak English.
- Wear appropriate company uniform including nametag.
- Neat, well groomed appearance.
- Must have a flexible schedule to include some weekends.
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Eye for Detail.
- Clean rooms within established goals per room.
- Maintains high level of quality, service, and cleanliness.
- Follow all state and federal guidelines including OSHA Hazardous Communication Training.
