Job Description
We are currently looking for an Instructional Designer/Developer to join our training team! The Instructional Designer/Developer will play a pivotal role in the creation of effective learning solutions aligned with our organizational goals. This position involves analyzing learning needs, designing instructional strategies, and developing innovative content using a variety of media and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with organizational leadership to analyze training needs, identify performance gaps, and define learning objectives
Design engaging and interactive learning experiences that align with adult learning principles and ensure measurable outcomes
Create e-learning content, instructor-led training materials, job aids, and other performance support tools
Use standard industry tools and technologies to build interactive and visually appealing digital content
Gather feedback to assess training effectiveness, analyze data, recommend improvements to instructional materials, and provide comprehensive reports on training outcomes
Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory updates to ensure training programs remain current and innovative
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proven track record of building best-in-class learning experiences in a corporate environment
Proven experience using development tools such Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite
Basic knowledge of Learning Management Systems
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport and work well with others across all levels of the organization
Strong ability to operate in a high energy environment with adaptability to change, being open to new ideas and responsibilities
Independent problem-solving skills
Desire and ability to take initiative and seek new opportunities, take ownership of situations and resolve complex situations
Results-driven, defining and achieving defined goals
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree Required. Master’s Degree in Instructional Design or related discipline preferred.
