Quality Engineer
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to add to our BA/QA team. This individual will aid in preventing software defects from being released to our customers. The Quality Engineer introduces new testing techniques and processes, supports test automation efforts, and provides analytical feedback on QA procedures and the overall quality of the application.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
· Reviewing requirements and design documents to provide feedback on improving quality of applications
· Collaborating with Test Automation Team to identify and automate test automation candidates
· Developing and implementing new testing processes and techniques
· Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
· Advanced knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
· Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
· Very strong analytical, critical thinking, time management, and task management skills
· Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and processes
· Ability to effectively communicate (both written and verbal) and build trusting relationships with associates at all levels of the organization
· Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
