Quality and Compliance Coordinator

The Product Quality and Compliance Coordinator is the gatekeeper of product attributes and performance. They will monitor compliance to the standard protocols, update them as necessary to remain current with regulatory and market requirements, and ensure bulk product is compliant prior to shipping.

Responsibilities:

• Stay current with regulatory updates as it applies to our product categories.
• Research and assist in the development and maintaining of corporate protocols and the implementation of customer-required policies.
• Collaborate internally with cross-functional teams on product claims/attributes and confirm/ develop the testing methodology required to support those claims.
• Work with Corporate Product Compliance Team to support and document recycled fiber claims. Support product teams and vendors with inquiries and general information on the same.
• Provide guidance for vendors on proper completion of TRF and how to submit testing in the most cost-effective manner.
• Support production team in timing of testing activities to maintain required production timeframe.
• Review test reports to ensure compliance to required protocols and verify lab performance.
• Disposition any test failures and work with vendor on product remediation. Collaborate internally on any corrective actions required and complete required documentation.
• Communicate with labs and/or customer as required to resolve any testing discrepancies.
• Track mill disclosure and work with Sustainability team to facilitate required reporting.
• Review and verify suggested care instructions.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years’ experience in product compliance role.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Established relationships with 3rd party testing labs.
• Understanding of testing requirements for large retailers. Walmart experience a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills
• Embraces a fast-paced working environment.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Demonstrates the ability to make good decisions and exercises sound judgement.

Annual salary range starting at $65,000.
