Are you ready to dive into the world of industrial refrigeration? Join us as an Industrial Refrigeration Specialist, executing critical maintenance and repair tasks across our warehouse with independence and precision.
Your Responsibilities:
- Execute routine maintenance, adjustments, and repairs on the refrigeration system, monitoring its performance and ensuring optimal operation.
- Replace components, meticulously adhering to safe Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures under the PSM program.
- Conduct basic refrigerant pump-outs and evacuations for effective valve replacement or repair.
- Maintain warehouse equipment, aligning with OSHA Standards to ensure consistent safety and functionality.
- Assess equipment performance using tools like voltmeters and ohmmeters, while testing and calibrating HVAC systems effectively.
- Review completed work against blueprints, specifications, and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment, making informed recommendations and understanding core troubleshooting methods for root cause analysis.
- Test safety equipment, complying with OSHA and operational standards.
- Maintain detailed preventive maintenance records within the CMMS System.
- Ensure workstations and tools are organized and maintained according to 6S standards.
- Engage in various related tasks as assigned.
The Qualifications We Seek:
- High school diploma or equivalent such as a GED is essential.
- Possess a combined 5 years of experience in Industrial Refrigeration and Maintenance, with at least 2 years specifically in industrial refrigeration roles.
- Completion of RETA Operator 1 course is advantageous, or similar industry-recognized training such as Stellar, Frick, or GCAP/Lanier.
- Preferably hold CARO and CIRO certifications.
- Must complete assigned courses in Industrial Refrigeration and maintenance effectively.
- Demonstrate skills in troubleshooting and repairs across various control systems, including ALTA and Allen Bradley.
- Training and certification in HAZMAT protocol is necessary.
- Proficiency in using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (Oracle preferred) is required.
- Exhibit computer literacy skills.
