Overview:
Ever wondered what keeps a warehouse running smoothly? Join us as a Warehouse Equipment Technician and be at the heart of operations. Your core task will involve maintaining and repairing material handling equipment (MHE) to ensure our warehouse performs at its best. You'll diagnose issues and oversee repairs for diverse machinery.
Your Role:
- Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems of MHE.
- Rebuild and replace key components such as masts, undercarriages, and transmissions.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and adjustment on various warehouse machinery.
- Inspect all equipment like forklifts to align with OSHA standards.
- Uphold battery and charger functionality per OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Bring at least 4 years of maintenance experience, with 2 years focused on MHE.
- Training in brands like Hyster, Crown, Toyota, or Raymond preferred.
- Experience may substitute for formal training during hiring.
- Able to train and certify in HAZMAT.
Exceptional Traits:
- Deep knowledge of MHE systems.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Mathematically inclined with hands-on ability.
- Must adapt to flexible shifts, including on-call work.
