What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plate Maker position at Americolor LLC?
We are an industry leading Commercial Printing Company that currently relocated our headquarters from Nashville, TN to Hartsville, TN. We are currently seeking a Plate Maker in our PrePress Department.
· Process plates to be sent through to the press.
· Ensure that all imaging equipment are functioning properly.
· Make sure jobs are setup correctly using the correct templates.
· Establish priorities and sequence of products to meet deadlines on a shift basis.
· Experience with Microsoft Word, including Excel and other computer- related software programs to download files, prep files, and process files for plate production.
· Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
· Be willing to be trained with Filemaker software along with prepress and digital press job duties.
Training on days 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday-Friday.
Final Schedule will be 7:00am - 7:30pm (Thursday, Friday, Saturday)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
