What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2025-2026 CEO Inland Empire VISTA position at AmeriCorps & Senior Corps?
The Center for Employment Opportunities (CEO) believes in the transformational power of work, and our vision is that anyone with a criminal record who wants to work has the preparation and support needed to find a job and to stay connected to the labor force. VISTA Members at CEO will support local sites seeking to change the status quo for individuals returning home from incarceration. Each VISTA Member will conduct research and create a program design for resource development, partnership development, and program innovation activities.
Member Duties : The VISTA Member at CEO Inland Empire will conduct in-depth research and implement strategies for resource development, partnership development, and program innovation activities at their local site. Capacity building initiatives will include expanding certificate training opportunities at the local level, piloting program improvement initiatives, and working closely with frontline staff and participants to create sustainable solutions bridging gaps in service. The VISTA will also work closely with the External Affairs team to build out community engagement efforts including individual and corporate volunteer events, grant writing, and fundraising.
