More Than Words (MTW) is a social enterprise that empowers youth, ages 16-24, who are in the foster care system, court involved, homeless, or out of school to take charge of their lives by taking charge of a business. By working as a team to manage their own retail and online used book business and community space, youth develop the employment skills, leadership, and self-confidence they need to successfully transition to adulthood. The purpose of this project is to create the tools, resources, and knowledge-base that improves More Than Words’ ability to empower system-involved young adults within the MTW model. Working directly with the Chief Learning Officer, the Evaluation Coordinator will build evaluation infrastructure by improving training and documentation materials; strengthening internal practices by monitoring data for quality and patterns; and supporting the qualitative assessment of MTW’s programming. This is an in-person role.
Member Duties : The Evaluation Coordinator will improve More Than Words' (MTW) training and documentation materials; strengthen internal practices by supporting staff and youth interpretation of MTW data; and support qualitative assessment of MTW. The Evaluation Coordinator will Develope & Improve Self-Paced Learning Tools on MTW’s “Youth Site and Strengthen internal practices by supporting staff and youth interpretation of MTW data. Additionally they will build and implement systems and strategies to use data to highlight youth successes to each other and to staff.
