What are the responsibilities and job description for the Healthy Minds Alliance - Dallas TX position at AmeriCorps?
The Healthy Minds Alliance is an innovative AmeriCorps program that engages universities, school districts, health care systems, and other community-based organizations across the nation to support widespread implementation of evidence-based mental health-focused gatekeeper trainings, including Mental Health First Aid, QPR, and SafeTALK. There is a sense of urgency in our nation to improve awareness, recognition, and ability to respond to the needs of those experiencing symptoms of mental illness. These gatekeeper trainings provide communities with the tools to better respond to mental health care needs. Healthy Minds Alliance places AmeriCorps members at host sites across the nation.
