What are the responsibilities and job description for the UAB Pre-Law Engagement and Program Coordinator VISTA position at AmeriCorps?
The UAB Pre-Law Engagement and Program Coordinator VISTA will strengthen the UAB Pre-Law Program by designing and implementing initiatives that promote leadership development, pre-professional skill building, and experiential learning. This includes coordinating events, workshops, and the Journey to Attorney Summer Camp, as well as managing the UAB Mock Trial team. The VISTA will also develop a digital credentialing system using micro-credentials and badges to recognize student achievements. Through these efforts, the VISTA will enhance student access to meaningful learning experiences and resources that support success in education and future careers.

They will gather input from students, faculty, professionals, and graduate programs to design a skill-based curriculum supported by a digital badging and micro-credentialing system.
