Youth Conservation Corps - Member Support Specialist
YCC is a community, non-profit organization which provides a year-round YouthBuild program, in which opportunity youth ages 16-24 who are disconnected from school and employment are able to complete their high school education and earn industry recognized certifications. YouthBuild provides an evidence-based, holistic and comprehensive youth program including education, occupational skill training, life skills, employability skills, leadership and placement into college and careers. Additional youth intervention services include trauma-informed programming and onsite mental health services. YCC also provides supportive services including case management, uniforms, food, transportation, and stipends. YCC delivers a life skills education to prepare participants for success in school, careers, and life. Participants explore skills including managing stress, communication, time management, relationships, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship.

Member Duties : The VISTA Member Support Specialist will work with the Career Success team in developing a system of community resources and requirements to help eliminate barriers to success, ensuring that there is a system of member feedback and evaluations as well as a tracking system regarding member referrals, support and connections.
