We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Train new housekeeping employees on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Implement and enforce housekeeping policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the facility.
- Maintain records of work schedules, staff performance, and any incidents that occur during shifts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, floor care maintenance, and custodial practices.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
