Salary Range- $84,073-$105,091, actual salary will depend on experience.

The Position :

Consistent with the credit union mission of building connections and providing our members the right financial services to live life, dream big and achieve financial success, the BSA & Fraud Manager will be :

Responsible for and maintaining a Fraud Prevention and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) programs. This individual will be charged with ensuring that AmeriCU has a strong program to meet the requirements put forth in the "five pillars" of the BSA.
Prepare and analyze fraud and BSA / AML-related trends, identifying patterns, emerging risks, and potential vulnerabilities. Develop comprehensive reports for senior management, recommending proactive measures to enhance fraud prevention and compliance efforts.

What you will do :

As a BSA & Fraud Manager your primary responsibilities will include :

Actively and effectively managing BSA and Fraud staff for performance, development, and retention.

Maintain the Credit Union's BSA / AML and Fraud prevention programs, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations.

Monitors the performance of the ant-money laundering and BSA / OFAC compliance platform and tunes parameters for optimal results.

Assists the BSA Officer in regulatory and internal reporting and policy development, as well as assisting with the implementation of new fraud detection and monitoring systems.

Oversee the monitoring, detection, and investigation of fraudulent activities, working closely with internal teams and law enforcement agencies to mitigate risks, recover losses, and enhance fraud prevention strategies.

Prepare and present reports to senior management and the board on fraud related trends and concerns. Periodically reviews operational procedures to ensure they are effective in controlling losses without negatively effecting member experience or fraud exposure.

Conduct regular risk assessments related to BSA / AML and Fraud.

Acts as OFAC Advisor for the Credit Union. Primary contact for OFAC matches and the filing of reports pursuant to OFAC regulation.

Designs and delivers training material to all AmeriCU staff. Acts as coach and consultant to help front line employees protect AmeriCU's members from fraudulent losses.

Maintain ongoing communication with the AVP, Specialty Banking & Fraud Prevention concerning activities of the department, and reports pertinent problems, irregularities, new developments, changes and other important information.

Serves as the primary contact for all department audits and model validations.

Manage the preparation, review and response to audit findings, implementing necessary corrective actions and process improvements as needed.

Helps achieve credit union goals by meeting minimum standards for the department, effective cost management, and adherence to policies and procedures.
