Salary Range- $64,593-$80,742, actual salary will depend on experience.

The Position:
Consistent with the credit union mission of building connections and providing our members the right financial services to live life, dream big and achieve financial success, the Manager, Mortgage Processing will:
- Manage, coach, and train all levels of Mortgage Processors and Mortgage Real Estate Administrators.
- Direct, develop and implement new procedures and processes designed to improve quality and efficiency of mortgage processing activities.
- Monitor and effectively counsel staff in member contact initiatives supporting the effective and efficient collection of required documentation for loan underwriting.
- Ensure mortgage processing staff are providing exceptional quality service to members and mortgage sales staff.
- Monitor team progress to reach and consistently deliver completed loan files within service level standards to underwriting personnel.
- Impact turn times and deliverables in accordance with department objectives and goals by administering proper diligence on pipeline management and individual performance output.
- Support the credit union in implementing its strategic goals and objectives.
What you will do:
As a Manager, Mortgage Processing your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the AVP, Mortgage Loan Operations in providing daily supervision and support to residential mortgage processors and administrators ensuring effective and efficient processing of all submitted loan files.
- Monitoring and enhancing performance standards for processing staff continuously improving service quality.
- Providing coaching and counseling to mortgage processing employees to further develop staff and improve service quality.
- Supervising the daily operations of the mortgage processing team and coordinates the team’s efforts in working with members and mortgage sales staff as warranted.
- Ensuring performance standards for mortgage processing employees are met and monitors the performance on a continuing basis to meet productivity and quality goals.
- Assisting in establishing and maintaining procedures for all mortgage loan processing functions.
- Communicating procedural and regulatory changes utilizing procedure manuals and periodic updates.
- Ensuring that mortgage loans are processed in accordance with state and federal regulations along with credit union and secondary market policies and procedures.
- Enforcing and adhering to established department and organization policies, procedures, objectives, and quality standards to ensure consistent operations of mortgage loan processing.
