The Delivery Representative will be responsible for delivering propane and filling tanks for residential, commercial and industrial customers. The Delivery Driver will provide the highest standards of safety and customer service.

Compensation
As a local Delivery Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering propane to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Successful applicants shall be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment, and if hired, shall be subject to substance abuse testing in accordance with AmeriGas policies. As a federal contractor that engages in safety-sensitive work, AmeriGas cannot permit employees in certain positions to use medical marijuana, even if prescribed by an authorized physician. Similarly, applicants for such positions who are actively using medical marijuana may be denied hire on that basis.
The pay for this position ranges from $31.06 to $32.06 depending on circumstances including an applicants skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation includes eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales.

Compensation
- Hourly rate: $32.06
- Average of 40-50 hours weekly
- Overtime pay after 40 hours worked at time and a half
- $5,000 sign-on bonus $2,500 paid after 90 days and $2,500 paid after 1 year
- $2,500 employee referral program
- Additional compensation includes eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales

- Shift: Day shift schedule; start times vary by location; shifts will be 8 to 12 hours depending on fluctuating needs

- Committing to a paid rotating on-call schedule to respond to emergencies after hours

As a local Delivery Representative, you will play a vital role in delivering propane to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Safely operate a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes
- Filling residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane
- Delivering propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers
- Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations in addition to all AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures
- Consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid CDL A or B license
- Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements required
- Must have a minimum of 6 months CDL driving experience with a clean driving record
- Propane industry experience is a plus
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to load/unload 50-pound cylinders (up to 200/day) and pull 75-pound hoses that are 150 feet or more
- Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test and background check
- Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 45miles of Gunnison, CO with no more than a 60-minute commuteor be willing to relocate for this position
