Territory Sales Representative Role
The Territory Sales Representative (TSR) is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing new customers by selling propane solutions within a specific territory assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales: Develops prospects, presents to accounts, and closes sales to establish and build sales volume within their assigned territory.
- Communications: Establishes and develops internal and external relationships, presents sales proposals, and builds client accounts.
- Commercial Revenue Growth: Increases revenue from new and existing customers.
- Sales Planning: Develops and executes a sales plan for their geographic area to maintain effective sales call activity and increase productivity.
- Network Development: Focuses on decision-makers in targeted client organizations to lead them to the AmeriGas solution.
- Competitive Awareness: Protects AmeriGas from competitive threats and maintains excellent competitive intelligence.
- Strategic Selling: Targets customers with expertise on propane products and solutions, stays current on industry regulatory changes.
Requirements
College degree or equivalent work experience required. Sales experience with a demonstrated record of sales success and goal attainment preferred.
