We're seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Service Technician to join our team. As a valued member, you will contribute to delivering exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their propane needs are met safely and efficiently.
Compensation and Benefits
- Enjoy an hourly rate starting at $30.00, with opportunities for additional compensation through performance-based bonuses or commissions on completed sales.
- You will have access to 17 days of PTO, 7 Paid Holidays, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a propane service vehicle along assigned routes, performing repairs on existing tanks and installing new ones for commercial and residential customers.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to federal and state codes, as well as AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A valid Massachusetts Gas Fitter License is mandatory.
- A valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements is also required.
- An acceptable driving record, satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check are essential.
