Delivery Representative Job Overview
AmeriGas, the nation's largest propane distributor, is seeking safety-minded and customer-focused individuals to join their team as Delivery Representatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver propane to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Filling residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane.
- Delivering propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers.
- Perform daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations, as well as AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
- Acceptable driving record.
- Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Capability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Compensation and Benefits:
The pay for this position ranges from $26.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on skills, qualifications, and experience. Additional compensation includes eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales.
