What are the responsibilities and job description for the Propane Delivery Specialist position at AmeriGas?
AmeriGas, the nation's largest propane distributor, is seeking a safety-minded and customer-focused Delivery Representative to join our team.
This role plays a vital part in delivering propane to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer service.
The responsibilities include:
- Safely operating a propane delivery truck along provided delivery routes
- Filling residential and/or commercial bulk tanks with propane
- Delivering propane cylinders to commercial/industrial customers
- Performing all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations in addition to all AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures
- Consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment
The successful candidate will have:
- A valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
- An acceptable driving record
- A satisfactory completion of a DOT physical and background check
- The willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- The ability to lift up to 70 lbs
