Salary : $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Here at AmeriGuard Security we are looking for Armed and Unarmed Security Officer. This position is responsible for deterring criminal activity by adhering to a facilitys security measures. Their duties include reviewing video surveillance equipment to identify odd behaviors, patrolling the interior and exterior of a property in set intervals and only providing property access to authorized individuals.

We are seeking candidates who are ready to embark in a career in Security. Our Security Officers are motivated, with great customer service skills and a passion for protecting our team members, clients and assets. Below is the different position we are looking for, if you are ready to take on the challenge, we are ready to talk.

Attention : Anyone with a NEW Guard, and Limited experience, we want you. After 6 months of employment with AmeriGuard, we will reimburse you for the cost of your Guard Card.

To be successful as a security guard you must be alert and professional. A good security guard is aware of all visitors to the property and ensures that no inappropriate actions take place.

This is a Part-Time position, weekends a must. You can pick up other shifts if desired.

Unarmed Guard :

• Inspecting and patrolling premises regularly.
• Monitoring surveillance cameras and reporting suspicious behavior.
• Communicating with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical personnel.
• Monitoring public access and ensuring the security of all personnel and visitors.
• Responding to alarms and analyzing security footage.
• Investigating suspicious behavior, incidents, and security breaches.
• Apprehending trespassers and perpetrators.
• Maintaining an activity log and preparing surveillance reports.
• Adhering to company policies and legal regulations.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

CPR / First Aid certified (strongly preferred)

Ability to stand for an extended period of time.
