We are looking for a motivated Optimization and Efficiency Solutions Intern to help design and implement a tracking mechanism for portfolio and project management. Using tools like Smartsheet, Planview, or similar platforms, you will create a structured system that enhances visibility, reporting, and collaboration across projects. Required Eligibility Guidelines: Candidates must meet either of the following required eligibility guidelines to be considered for the AmeriHealth Caritas Internship program.
- Candidates must be able to work a Hybrid schedule, which is 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.
- Candidates must be able to fully commit to the approximate 10-week internship program from June 2, 2025 to August 8, 2025.
- Candidates must be rising Seniors by June 2, 2025, actively enrolled in a full-time undergraduate 4-year college degree program, and majoring in Business, Information Systems, Project Management, and/or a related field
- Candidates must have an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 GPA scale
- Candidates must be enrolled in an MBA program by June 2, 2025

Responsibilities
- Design and develop a project tracking framework in Smartsheet, Planview, or another suitable tool
- Gather requirements from stakeholders to ensure the system meets organizational needs
- Configure dashboards, reports, and workflows to automate tracking and reporting
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency, developing templates and standard operating procedures
- Document and train users on how to navigate and utilize the system effectively
- Analyze existing processes and suggest improvements for better portfolio management
- Assist with data migration from legacy tracking systems, if needed
- Actively enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Business, Information Systems, Project Management, and/or a related field
- Familiarity with project management tools (Smartsheet, Planview, etc.) is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to gather and document business requirements from stakeholders
- Experience with data visualization, dashboards, and/or workflow automation is a plus
- Effective communication (listening, verbal, and written) skills
- Ability to present insights and recommendations
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
