What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facets Business Systems Analyst Sr position at AmeriHealth Caritas?
Responsibilities
Top technical contributor that formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and analysis combined with an advanced understanding of applicable health insurance / healthcare business industry requirements. Develops and modifies global system changes utilizing advanced understanding and technical knowledge of the FACETS application. Assists and mentors less experienced FACETS Business System Analysts. This position will manage / lead large scale projects.
- Serve as a technical consultant to assigned Health Plan(s) in the evaluation, design, testing, and implementation of required Health Plan benefit and payment structure changes.
- Serve as an internal consultant and subject matter expert to various Service Operations functions on both corporate projects and business initiatives that require FACETS configuration modifications.
- Understands / implements changes with a broader knowledge of problematic issues. Views Facets with larger impact in mind as well as being aware of downstream effects.
- Monitor existing system functionality and make recommendations where appropriate, to maintain acceptable levels of performance, reliability, and end user satisfaction.
- Analyze and present business impact analysis for global system changes.
- Identify opportunities to create efficiencies through FACETS system enhancements.
- Automate routine configuration processes.
- As a key contributor, lead mid-level to complex projects.
- Conduct unit testing of planned configuration modifications prior to User Acceptance Testing and auditing.
- Create detailed written technical specifications to both document and promote FACETS system production changes.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of work requests though the use of production validation and audit strategies.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the business community, including technical staff, internal non-technical staff, testing teams, and business stakeholders.
- Maintain effective, productive relationships with internal and external clients.
- Support and Carry out the AmeriHealth Caritas Mission.
