Under the oversight of the Vice President and Controller, the Manager, Provider Disbursements maintains the relationships with our claim payment and fulfillment vendors and oversees the payment processes for our healthcare providers, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.;;;

Under the oversight of the Vice President and Controller, the Manager, Provider Disbursements maintains the relationships with our claim payment and fulfillment vendors and oversees the payment processes for our healthcare providers, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.;;;
Responsibilities:
- Leads a team of associates engaged in provider payment activities.; Provides direction and guidance where needed.; Maintains high standards for quality of work.; Maintains strong relationships with internal and external teams, providers, vendors, business partners and stakeholders by communicating effectively and proactively.;; Manages escalations, effectively resolving disputes related to payments.;
- Participates in financial reconciliations related to vendor payments utilizing principles of cash flow management.;; Monitors and tracks vendor payments and other disbursements.;
- Leads a team of associates engaged in provider payment activities.; Provides direction and guidance where needed.; Maintains high standards for quality of work.; Maintains strong relationships with internal and external teams, providers, vendors, business partners and stakeholders by communicating effectively and proactively.;; Manages escalations, effectively resolving disputes related to payments.;
- Develops and implements processes for efficiency and accuracy in provider payments; Effectively conducts data analysis, identifying trends or issues to optimize disbursement processes.;
- Actively troubleshoots disbursement issues; makes effective decisions for resolving payment discrepancies.; Manages large volume transactions.;
- Collaborate with outside vendors/states to implement opportunities/health plans where possible.
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 7 years experience in healthcare finance including 2 years of people management experience
- Technical industry knowledge: Knowledge of provider payment systems and regulations in healthcare industry; Experience with claims processing, payment cycle, and reimbursement methodologies
- Expertise in financial reconciliation; strong understanding of cash flow management, vendor payment processes, and disbursement tracking.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to develop associate skill sets, manage performance advocate for staff
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and establish rapport and relationships at all levels
- Strong analytical skills and troubleshooting capabilities/experience.
- Sound process orientation with the ability to identify opportunity for efficiencies and automation
- Demonstrate good business judgment and able to make decisions
- Ability to lead cross functional teams to achieve desired goals
