Job Title: Quality Control Compliance Analyst Location: CA - Westlake Village What you'll do: The Quality Control Compliance Analyst is responsible for auditing the documentation for loans purchased by AmeriHome for compliance with federal regulatory requirements to ensure they meets investor quality standards. Conducts post-closing reviews of AmeriHome loans for State and Federal compliance, including but not limited to; TILA, RESPA, TRID, and ECOA Assures that results provided by investors revealing a pattern of deficiencies are accurately reported to management Participates in remediation of identified defects with Operations and Correspondent Seller Monitors the progress of implementation of action plans based on Quality Control Findings and results Communicates any identified defects effectively to internal and external counterparties Assists other team personnel in interpreting compliance defects cited by external sources and preparing appeals or rebuttals What you'll need: 5 years mortgage industry experience, with 3 years recent Quality Control experience Ability to communicate effectively and professionally Clear and effective communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal oversight Ability to work with multiple team members to achieve a larger team objective Demonstrated understanding of mortgage lending operations and industry, specifically how it relates to Quality Control Thorough knowledge of Federal regulatory guidelines and procedures - TRID knowledge and experience is a must Basic knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA and VA guidelines Attention to detail an ability to multi-task Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders Prioritization and time management Compensation: Hourly range for new hires is generally $40.41 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
