HBI Amerilab Technologies is a growing and leading US manufacturer in the development, manufacturing, and packaging of effervescent tablets, and effervescent and non-effervescent powders in stick packs and sachets, and we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Sourcing Manager to join our team.
The Senior Sourcing Manager will lead our procurement efforts for packaging and raw materials and play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective supply of high-quality materials while driving supplier relationships and supporting the company’s sustainability and innovation goals. This position demands a balance of analytical expertise, negotiation skills, and collaborative leadership.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for packaging and raw materials to meet business objectives, including cost savings, quality standards, and sustainability targets.
- Work closely with existing and new customers on alternative packaging solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering long-term partnerships and ensuring consistent supply chain performance.
- Conduct market analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the packaging and raw materials landscape.
- Negotiate supplier contracts and agreements, focusing on optimizing cost, quality, and delivery terms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, supply chain, and operations teams to align sourcing strategies with organizational goals.
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly to ensure compliance with quality, delivery, and cost requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks in the sourcing process, ensuring business continuity and minimizing disruptions.
- Lead initiatives to source sustainable and innovative materials, supporting the company’s environmental and corporate responsibility objectives.
- Monitor and manage budgets for procurement activities, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
