Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive ServiceNow Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our ServiceNow platform to ensure its optimal performance and alignment with business needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of ServiceNow modules, configuration, and maintenance processes, with a focus on delivering value and a seamless user experience.Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Administration: Configure, customize, and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including user roles, permissions, workflows, and forms.
- Incident and Request Management: Ensure timely and effective resolution of ServiceNow-related incidents, service requests, and escalations.
- ServiceNow Updates: Manage platform upgrades, patches, and new releases to ensure compatibility and performance, including sandbox testing and deployment.
- Module Expertise: Support and maintain key ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or other modules based on the company’s needs).
- Data Integrity and Reporting: Ensure the accuracy of data within the platform and generate reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
- User Support and Training: Provide user support, troubleshooting, and training to ensure adoption and best practices are followed.
- Integration Management: Collaborate with IT teams to manage integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise tools and systems.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of configurations, workflows, and system changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or in a similar ServiceNow role.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture and capabilities.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide, etc.) and configuration.
- Experience with platform upgrades, configuration, and third-party integrations.
- ITIL certification or familiarity with ITIL principles is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
