Role Description
This is a entry-level, full-time on-site role for a Junior Estimator at AmeriMex Drywall, LLC located in Smithfield, NC. The Junior Estimator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to estimating projects, analyzing blueprints, conducting take-offs, preparing bids, and assisting in project planning and coordination, collaborating with contractors and vendors and helping to ensure accurate bidding processes.
Qualifications
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints
- Attention to detail and accuracy in project estimation
- Knowledge of construction materials and methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment
- Willing to travel
- Experience in estimating, take-offs, and bid preparation is a plus
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
