As a UiPath Platform Developer Lead you are responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and strategic direction of a UiPath robotic process automation (RPA) platform within Amerihealth Caritas, working to design, build, and deploy automated workflows while ensuring adherence to best practices, quality standards, and business objectives across the entire UiPath ecosystem. You will be working with multiple UIPath development teams and potentially “citizen” developers on the business side to enforce governance and best practices across the UIPath platform.
Key responsibilities of a UiPath Platform Lead may include:
• Architecture design: Define the overall architecture of the UiPath platform, including process flows, data management strategies, and integration points with other systems.
• Requirements gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify potential automation opportunities, gather requirements, and translate them into effective UiPath workflows.
• Solution development: Lead the design and development of complex automation solutions using UiPath Studio, ensuring code quality, reusability, and maintainability.
• Implementation and deployment: Oversee the deployment of automated workflows to production environments, including testing, change management, and user training.
• Performance monitoring and optimization: Monitor the performance of deployed automations, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to maximize efficiency.
• Governance and compliance: Establish standards, guidelines, and best practices for development, documentation, and security within the UiPath platform.
• Stakeholder management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and advocating for the value of automation.
Qualifications / Education:
• Deep expertise in UiPath platform: At least five to seven (5-7) years of UiPath experience, both on premise and Cloud. Comprehensive understanding of UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and other core components.
• Software development skills: Strong programming background, preferably in .NET or C#, with experience in object-oriented design principles.
• Business process analysis: Ability to analyze complex business processes, identify automation opportunities, and design efficient workflows.
• Project management skills: Experience in leading automation projects from initiation to completion, including planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Communication and collaboration: Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively present ideas, and collaborate across teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
