Job Summary
As an Employee Relations Specialist at AmeriPharma, you will be responsible to serve as a key resource in fostering a positive work environment by managing employee relations and addressing workplace issues. This role involves ensuring fair treatment of employees, handling grievances, and implementing strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.
Schedule Details
- Location: On-Site (Laguna Hills, CA)
- Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Duties and Responsibilities
- Employee Support and Counseling:
o Provide guidance and support to employees regarding workplace concerns, including conflicts, performance issues, and disciplinary actions
o Act as a mediator between employees and management to resolve conflicts and disputes - Policy Development and Implementation:
o Develop, implement, and communicate company policies and procedures related to employee relations
o Ensure policies are compliant with legal regulations and industry best practices - Grievance Management:
o Investigate and address employee complaints and grievances in a timely and impartial manner
o Document findings and resolutions, and track recurring issues to identify trends and recommend improvements - Training and Development:
o Design and deliver training programs on employee relations topics, such as conflict resolution, effective communication, and workplace ethics
o Support managers and supervisors in handling employee issues and improving team dynamics - Employee Engagement and Retention:
o Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention
o Conduct surveys and feedback sessions to gauge employee morale and identify areas for improvement - Legal Compliance:
o Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure the company’s practices are compliant
o Work with legal counsel to address any legal issues related to employee relations
- Performance Management:
o Assist in the performance management process, including setting performance expectations, conducting evaluations, and addressing performance-related issues - Record Keeping and Reporting:
o Maintain accurate records of employee relations cases, actions taken, and outcomes
o Prepare reports and analyses on employee relations trends and metrics for management review
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in Employee Relations or Human Resources
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Experience in Pharmacy or Healthcare industries
