Job Summary
As a MedBox Processor at AmeriPharma, you will be responsible for coordinating with patients and various departments to assist needs and ensure prescriptions can be filled and billed accurately and in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accurately type new or refill prescriptions
- Ensure all orders are billed appropriately (accurate quantity per dose/dose per day)
- Patient communication
- Ensure all orders have appropriate TCG-specific hours of administration
- Evaluate whether medication should be profiled or filled
- Test billing of interested patient's insurance to ensure patient can fill with AmeriPharma
- Ensure patients are put into correct group and that all prescriptions are filled on scheduled due date
- Send out Update Emails to all patients
- Ensure prescriptions are voided when needed
- Communicate with MedBox RPh when new patients are ready for evaluation
- Processes health minders, ticklers, requested refills
- Determine how much to send out based on cycle
- Interpretation of new orders
- Call other pharmacy to acquire missing information (prescriber, dose, insurance)
- Other duties as assigned

- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication and a team player
Education/Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CA Pharmacy Technician License Preferred
- 6 months - 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience
Schedule Details
- In-Person (Laguna Hills ,Ca. - Office boarders Irvine)
- Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
