Position Overview: As an Embroidery Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the production process by operating embroidery machines to create intricate and precise designs on various apparel items. You will work closely with our design and production teams to ensure that our customers' visions come to life through embroidery. Expertise in Amaya machines is a plus, but we are open to candidates with experience in other embroidery equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain embroidery machines with precision and attention to detail.
- Set up and prepare machines for embroidery runs, including selecting appropriate threads and needles.
- Load and unload materials, such as garments, hats, or bags, onto the embroidery machine.
- Interpret and follow design specifications and instructions to ensure accurate embroidery placement and quality.
- Monitor machine operation to detect any issues or errors, making necessary adjustments as required.
- Inspect finished products for quality and consistency, addressing any defects or imperfections.
- Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the design team to review and confirm design files and digitized artwork.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper thread and material management.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking and ordering embroidery supplies and materials.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of embroidery processes and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating embroidery machines is highly preferred.
- Expertise in Amaya embroidery machines is a significant plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.
- Ability to read and interpret design specifications and embroidery files.
