Key Responsibilities
• Develop comprehensive marketing strategies to increase awareness and drive growth of banking and cash solutions specifically Ameriprise® Checking Account
• Drive a multi-channel approach to marketing including direct to client, digital, Advisor channel, etc.
• Create content to support banking and cash solutions initiatives. Work with large cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure alignment and integration.
• Plan, write and implement content strategies and tactics that support integrated plans. Works individually or with a team to prepare marketing collateral, communications, etc.
• Serve as primary liaison with internal partners – legal, compliance, creative services, production services, product development, sales strategy, etc.
• Execute measurable program results. Track program participation and results and provide recommendations for improvements, implement approved recommendations quickly across the organization to ensure alignment and integration.
Required Qualifications
• 5 years’ experience in Banking, Investments or non-financial Product Marketing and Communications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent in a related field
• Knowledge of Banking and Financial Solutions
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with Checking products
• Strong, demonstrated writing skills -- including content research and audience strategies• Ability to motivate and influence internal partners
• Demonstrated ability to work as a leader within teams and ability to collaboratively influence others
• Exceptional marketing, communication, training, project management and organizational skills
• Experience in developing and implementing dynamic content strategies
• Familiar with assessing campaign performance and using data to enhance results
• Capable of interacting with variety of individuals cross-organizationally
• A self-starter, solution-focused and be able to work independently
• Shown ability to think fast, respond quickly and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Confirmed ability to prioritize, coupled with strong attention to detail
• Robust knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office products (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
