What are the responsibilities and job description for the AmeriQual Foods - Quality Systems Specialist position at AmeriQual Foods?
This position is responsible for building, reviewing, and delivering documentation folders to designated department locations for daily production as well as maintaining an effective and accurate Quality Management System.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Put together daily documentation folders for Warehouse, Batching, UGRA, QA, and Packaging.
· Make pallet tags and labels and scan to QA for approval.
· Print Work Orders for folders.
· Create and maintain product specific technical sheets for the Quality Management System.
· Maintain document control in SharePoint.
· Maintain customer documentation in quality management system.
· Support maintenance of identity preserved programs (organic, kosher, etc).
· Assist with Internal Audits in various departments.
· Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following organization, industry, and regulatory standards.
· Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
· High School Diploma or equivalent required
· Strong computer skills, specifically data entry
· Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with other team members
· Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk and stand; Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds. Position will frequent the production floor, so operating in standard seasonal warehouse and food processing plant temperature conditions will be required. Work is completed in a facility where nuts, fruits and other allergens are present.
