AmeriQual Foods is seeking an energetic Human Generalist to provide hands-on to support our manufacturing operations. This position works closely with team members throughout the organization to foster a positive work environment, drive HR initiatives, and align HR strategies with company goals. This is an onsite, salaried position with primarily M-F, 1st shift hours.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with the leadership team and collaborate to assess workforce needs and develop effective solutions to promote company and personal growth.
• Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding efforts for hourly manufacturing roles.
• Work with the HR team to manage employee relations including coaching, professional development, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in employee engagement initiatives to enhance workforce satisfaction and retention.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment regulations and company policies.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
• 3 years of human resources experience, preferably in manufacturing setting.
• PHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred.
• Ability to foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration and act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all team members in an approachable, professional manner.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office and HRIS systems (UKG experience preferred).
• Strong problem solving, conflict resolution, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize and adapt to changing needs.
