What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Line Supply / Prod Tracker 2nd Shift position at AmeriQual Group?
Job purpose
Responsible for keeping production areas furnished with materials that are needed for production and keeping accurate counts of materials. Line supply is also responsible for the direction of the material handlers behind the line to maintain optimum production.
Duties and responsibilities
- Keeping accurate counts, and recording lot numbers of materials on batch sheets.
- Provide materials on a timely basis to each respective area.
- Set up menus in accordance with the suggested stacking pattern for each menu.
- Moving, stacking, lifting, counting/tracking materials.
- Ensure lot numbers on product are correct.
- Keep counts on each product pulled for the day; assure accuracy of information on daily production reports.
- Make pallet tags with correct information.
- Cut open cases and prep product for use.
- Understand and adhere to GMP’s
- Follow any other instructions and perform other duties requested by supervisors.
Qualifications include :
- General knowledge of mathematics.
- Knowledge of MRE lot numbers and pallet tags
- Understanding the concept of FIFO (first in first out).
- Ability to learn job procedures.
- Ability to make quick judgment calls and be alert to any deviation.
- General knowledge of quality standards and operating procedures.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work without close supervision.
- Good communication skills. Ability to work a pallet jack.
Physical requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.; bending, stooping, reaching, and good manual dexterity are also required for the job.
