Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team. This role involves physical labor and the use of specialized tools and equipment to assist in the installation and finishing of concrete structures.
Duties
- Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete according to specifications.
- Assist in the installation of forms for concrete structures such as walls, sidewalks, and driveways.
- Finish surfaces using hand tools or power tools to achieve desired textures and finishes.
- Perform tasks related to plastering, roofing, drywall installation, welding, trim carpentry, flooring installation, and metal stud framing as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining safety standards.
- Follow instructions from supervisors regarding project specifications and safety protocols.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in concrete labor or related construction fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with plastering, roofing, drywall installation, welding, trim carpentry, flooring installation, metal stud framing, or construction estimating is a plus.
- Ability to operate various hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds).
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to safety on the job site.
- Valid driver's license may be required for transportation of materials or equipment.
