What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crew Lead position at AMERIRESOURCE GROUP?
We are seeking a Lead Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge, the ability to understand underground utilities, dig around them with mini-Excavator and Track hoe, and the ability to learn how to read prints. This position requires the ability to handle heavy lifting, driving, pulling and backing trailers, and a drive for excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead a team in daily tasks
- Maintain and repair equipment as needed
- Learn and maintain a quality of work that is above standard
- Work with others in a respectful and positive manner
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required
- Ensure to work safely and efficiently
- Excavating underground utilities, installing new, setting boxes, and landscape restoration
- Quality control of clean up after the job including dirt work and landscaping restoration
Skills:
- Drive safely and courteously of others
- Heavy lifting capabilities
- Basic math skills and map reading skills
- Equipment repair and troubleshooting
- Mini Excavator usage of at least 1 year experience around underground utilities
- Ability to take direction and make critical thinking decisions
- Experience in directing others with respect
- Strong work ethic and pride in doing work correctly the first time
