This role requires a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage components.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management.
- Analyze schematics and blueprints to understand system layouts and identify issues.
- Operate precision measuring instruments to assess equipment functionality.
- Conduct stick welding as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Collaborate with team members to develop effective maintenance strategies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficiency in working with logic controllers and understanding their operations.
- Experience in high voltage systems, low voltage systems, and industrial electrical components.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions.
- Familiarity with manufacturing facility operations and maintenance requirements.
- Strong skills in reading schematics and technical documentation.
- Competence in using precision measuring instruments for diagnostics.
- Knowledge of militarized standards for equipment maintenance is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on teamwork.
