Summary Objective

Competencies
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting or Finance. At least ten (10) years experience in credit, loan underwriting and lending functions. Experience in retail lending, residential lending, commercial and commercial real estate lending. Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills are required.

- Promote a comprehensive Relationship Management culture that achieves established income and growth goals.
- Foster teamwork, communication and work closely with other departments to expand overall customer relationships.
- Analyze and reinforce processes that drive a sales and service environment, including referrals, profiling, coaching, joint calls, and product knowledge skills.
- Assist in the development of training initiatives that strengthen individual sales skills.
- Establish goals that support relationship management activities and methods to measure, track and reward results.
- Promotes the use of the internal sales management system (Sales Tracker) to track and update new business opportunities, maintain customer profiles, and record calls.
- Conduct and participate in regularly scheduled sales and service meetings that identify relationship opportunities, formulate action plans, and provide recommendations on methods to improve performance.
- Monitor the delivery of quality customer service through assessment techniques and initiate corrective actions and alternative procedures as needed.
- Participate in the identification of critical market segments and appropriate deliver strategies.
- Profitably expand relationships within the commercial services loan portfolio.
- Support all aspects of relationship management including conducting regular sales meetings, coaching sessions, profiling, business development calls and documenting calling effort.
- Achieve established business development goals, including new loan production, deposits, fees, and product referrals.
- Provide guidance and direction on structuring, pricing, negotiating, and servicing commercial credits.
- Reinforce standards to support quality customer service and retain commercial relationships.
- Promote strong product knowledge skills.
- Assures effective implementation of portfolio management objectives to promote efficiency and assess risk.
- Assists in developing and administering policies and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with appropriate federal, state and agency regulations and laws.
- Reviews loans by Relationship Managers for adherence to lending objectives, structure, pricing, policy and procedures.
- Manages department workflow including underwriting, credit analysis process and risk rating assignments.
- Establishes and adheres to the necessary internal controls to properly service the portfolio and maintain credit quality.
- Supports compliance with the information monitoring process that includes financial statement tracking, covenant compliance, collateral values, and documentation exceptions.
- Identifies problem credits, actively monitors delinquency, and initiates corrective action on loan exceptions.
- Assumes primary responsibility as the lead person for an identified geographic market.
- Serves as the senior representative for the Bank in the identified market.
- Directly oversees and coordinates our media, public, and community relations utilizing support and guidance from the Marketing Department.
- Lead the representative group of professionals from each of the business specialty groups with presence in the markets in the collaborative effort to formulate a comprehensive strategic and tactical marketing plan and serve as the champion for execution of that plan.
- Coordinate the Bank’s image and community involvement for the identified market.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
