AmeriStaff is currently seeking an experienced Sales Representative to fill an opening with a company that makes materials enhancing the quality of life and is located in Martinsville, VA. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree with some customer service/sales experience.
Benefits of the Sales Representative:
- Monday-Friday.
- 9:am-6:00PM.
- Pay: $21 per hour.
Responsibilities of the Sales Representative:
- Set up and maintain customer files.
- Answer incoming calls, process orders, and prepare invoices.
- Maintain superior product knowledge and competitor information.
- Provide customer service to current and prospective customers by answering questions and solving problems.
- Present price, credit, and terms in accordance with standard procedures.
- Cold call prospective business customers, send promotional materials, and follow up.
- Process customer warranties and returns.
- Monitor promotional pack inventory and assemble more as needed.
- Provide support to Outside Sales Representatives.
- Cross-trained in production planning to assist in physical inventory count as needed.
- Cross-trained in shipping to assist with order fulfillment.
- Adhere to safety culture.
- Complete special projects as directed by manager.
Requirements of the Sales Representative:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Customer service/sales experience required.
- Sales Force.
- SAP.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient skills with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook, as well as general computer skills.
