Ameristar Meats, LLC is seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead our plant operations and drive business growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operational Planning: Develop and execute operational plans that align with company strategies and policies. Collaborate with local teams and corporate leadership to achieve set goals.
Performance Management: Oversee sales, profitability, cash flow, yield, specification metrics, and business objectives for the plant. Provide direction, management, and performance feedback.
Sales Development: Foster relationships to drive sales through broadline division teams. Partner with area and region leadership to grow COP in local markets and national chain account opportunities.
Operational Excellence: Ensure continuous improvement of plant operations, productivity, and equipment utilization. Guide local teams to execute tasks according to company guidelines.
Metric Analysis: Measure and evaluate internal and external processes. Provide timely, accurate reports on plant operational metrics.
Financial Reporting: Ensure solid financial reports are produced and reviewed as needed.
Accountability: Achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP) goals and related performance initiatives.
Team Leadership: Motivate and lead a high-performing management team. Attract, recruit, and retain talent. Provide mentoring and coaching for career development.
Culture Alignment: Embed the company's mission and core values within the manufacturing organization.
Growth Strategies: Spearhead the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
Representation: Represent the company with customers, employees, community stakeholders, and business partners.
