Job Summary:
The Executive Director of Manufacturing Operations is responsible for leading the operational strategy and direction for multiple plants within Ameristar Meats, LLC. This includes setting up and executing operational plans to achieve company goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations and leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality
- Lead and manage a team of functional leads including warehouse, production, finance, admin, purchasing, and sales
- Directly supervise the day-to-day activities of plant operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including broadline division and corporate management, as well as external partners, such as USDA, FDA, local authorities, auditing companies, vendors, and customers
Requirements:
- 8 years of experience in a leadership role in sales, manufacturing, or production, preferably in a meat processing environment
- Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of FSQA, P&L experience, sales, and leadership skills
